Here you will find a photo of T. Ellery Hodges looking into the distance with an expression that hints at an optimistic and upbeat personality. This will be accompanied by a few paragraphs where he talks about himself in the third person.

T. Ellery Hodges was born in Sacramento, Ca in 1981. Todd is an Aquarius, but he doesn’t much believe in astrological signs, which is somewhat ironic, as it’s rather Aquarian of him. He moved to Seattle at nineteen and received his Bachelors of Science from the University Of Washington.

In high school and early college, he gravitated toward writing. He then made unsuspecting students who had mistakenly taken creative writing in the same period endure the reading of his short stories. During his twenties to early thirties he: worked at a laboratory performing drug trials, traveled most of Washington State fixing computers for Apple, sold gym memberships, helped manage an international supply chain for a chemical distributor, and worked for a biotech company that developed treatments for cancer.

Much like the rest of his generation, he found himself poorly suited to doing any type of work for long. So, in 2013 he brushed the metaphorical dust off a novel he’d been writing in his head for about six years. Then, he looked up the definition of ‘metaphorical’ because he was pretty sure that people who referred to themselves as ‘authors’ knew that one. He found out that ‘figurative’ would have been the better word… and so the adventure began.

In January of 2016, he found that there was at least one thing he could endure doing for forty hours a week for the rest of his life and became a full-time author.

Now, there is probably a lesson in all that about ignoring what you want to do for what you think you should do, but this is an autobiography posing as a biography… not a lecture.

TODAY

T. Ellery lives with his wife, two sons, and daughter in Seattle. He completed The Chronicles of Jonathan Tibbs in late 2020 and is now hard at work on his next series. Hello, T. Ellery. I shall leave no ellipsis (plural is ‘ellipses’). I looked at the youtube promotion for your book and found it compelling. Generally speaking, I detest modern science fiction, but yours looks to be more substantial, so will download a sample. By the way, for a compendium of business silliness see Blaine Pardoe on Amazon.com

I just finished the audiobook of The Never Hero. I listen to books while on the road. I really enjoyed your book and look forward to the next installment. Don’t quit at two, this is a great idea and you can run with it for awhile. A lot of possibilities here. I have a friend who is an author of YA and children’s books. I find it interesting to watch the revision process and see how her stories get better with each revision. Keep plugging on.

Hello, any idea when the third book will come out in audio? I listened to the first two and will probably go back, listen to them again a few weeks prior to the third audio release. Please update us when you find something out. Thanks!
